Es investigadora en Ciencias Médicas en el Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad del Bajío. Docente y consultora privada. Estudió Nutrición en la Universidad Iberoamericana, es especialista en Nutrición Clínica Pediátrica por el Hospital Infantil de México, terminó la Maestría en Investigación Clínica en la Universidad de Guanajuato. Miembro del Colegio de Nutriólogos de León A.C.
